the deep blue pigments are made from foraged ancient spruce cones buried by prehistoric tsunamis in the coastal forests of the Pacific Northwest. The grounding reds pigments are made from the volcanic soils around the Cascade Mountains, in the Ring of Fire. These pigments’ connection to earth, space, and their journey across time - transformed by the great forces of nature -- are a testament to the marvel and ephemeral nature of Jagat.
